Architectural Review Board

 

AUTHORIZATION

The Architectural Review Board (ARB) is authorized by the Winding River Plantation Board of Directors (WRP BOD) as permitted under Article Nine, Section 9.02 (a) of the Amended and Restated Covenants, Conditions and Restrictions and Article 7.2 of the Amended and Restated By-Laws of the Winding River Plantation Community Association, Inc. and is subject to the Mission, Responsibilities, Goals and By-Laws as stated below.

 

MISSION 

Administration of the Design Guidelines as defined in the Covenants, Article 9 to protect and preserve the character and quality of development within Winding River Plantation.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES 

• Evaluation of plans for adherence to the Design Guidelines and compatibility of the design with the adjoining sites and common areas.

• Approving all construction.

• Monitoring the construction process.

• Enforcing the Design Requirements.

• Interpreting the Covenants and Design Requirements and guidelines at the request of the owners.

GOALS 

Work with property owners and builders throughout the home construction process evaluating site preparation, house design, and the landscape plan, assuring the final product complies with the Community Design Requirements and Guidelines.

 

MEETINGS
The ARB meets twice per month .  ARB meetings are closed; however, Association members and contractors who wish to address the ARB shall contact the ARB Coordinator at the PMO office in advance of the scheduled meeting stating the subject and nature of their comments and request to be added to the meeting agenda.
